And no, as designers we are not just people that went to school to learn which cousins go with which sofa. A designer is a person who can really work to bring your whole home together. 

 Every design can be a good one, but without proper light the design and the furniture selected can be a disaster. That's why here at Roomy Home Interiors we have avalible a large selection of lighting in our King street showroom.

 A college professor of mine always stressed the importance of lighting. "No design is a good design without proper lighting". Not only over head lighting you have to consider but also task lighting, and how much light is needed for eating or watching television? There are many aspects to to consider when selecting your lighting. Things like: at what height do I need my light? and what type of fixutre would work best in this space?

These times are a changin' and here at Roomy Interiors we're all excited about our new look coming this fall to our Toronto King Street store! What designer doesn't love a clean slate to change and update. We can't wait to see our new store and we're looking forward to everyone else seeing it as well.

It's a piece of furniture that we have all either had in our own homes, or know someone that does - the leather sectional sofa.
